Investigating the Effects of Geometrical Parameters of Re-Entrant Cells of Aluminum 7075-T651 Auxetic Structures on Fatigue Life

In this study, the effects of two geometrical parameters re-entrant auxetic cells, namely, internal cell angle (θ) and H/L ratio in which H is height, L length, have been studied on variations Poisson’s fatigue life Aluminum 7075-T6 structures. Five different values both θ were selected. Numerical simulations predictions conducted through use ABAQUS (version 2022) MSC Fatigue 11.0) software. Results revealed that increases improved average value ratio. Increasing from 1 to 1.4 50° 70° increased ratio, respectively, 7.7% 80%. all angles, increasing decreased structures significantly.
